University of Lagos
Built on a Legacy of Service and Sacrifice
The College of Medicine, University of Lagos alumni Foundation was established by the class of 1973โ1978 who entered the medical school more than fifty years ago โ a generation shaped by discipline, service, and an unwavering commitment to humanity.
Our lives and careers were built on the solid foundation laid by an institution that once stood as a beacon of excellence in medical education. Over the decades, however, our beloved college has faced an agonising decline โ chronic under-funding, political instability, and economic challenges have taken their toll.
We refuse to stand by and watch this legacy fade. As our class contribution in our Jubilee year, we created this Foundation to help restore, strengthen, and secure the future of our alma mater for generations yet to come.
